PLEASE NOTE - Purchasing tickets for this meetup books your place for the Notworking (only) which is everything apart from the talks at Glug (Bar, outside terrace etc). These tickets are priced £3
Hello, it's been a while we know. But after the big Christmas bash we wanted to take some time off before kicking things off again in 2012. That said, we're very pleased to now be able to tell you about our next event on Thursday 5th April 2012 @ Cargo!
Loosely themed around music, we've got a great mixture of brilliant creative studios, agencies, art directors and creative talent.
We're also going to tweak the format a little, based on feedback from you last year! This will mean there are two meetups set up for each event - one for Talks Tickets (priced at £7) which books you a place and seat in the end room for all the talks, then also a Notworking ticket (priced at £3) to enjoy the rest of the event. Hopefully this will mean people that want to see the talks are guaranteed a seat, but equally we're going to be upping the activity outside the end room, with various stalls, interactive stands and features, free drinks and bbq around the place!
It's important for us that it doesn't just become just a talks event as this wasn't the main reason we set it up. Hopefully this means we get the best of both worlds. Anyway, here's the lineup - snap your tickets up quick ;-)

In the bar and outside on the terrace:
Counter-Print is an online store dedicated to the promotion and sale of art and design related material - vintage books, magazines, journals and ephemera. Often out of print or hard to find, they aim to celebrate both forgotten gems as well as those heralded designers that we all admire.
We're pleased to have a wonderful mini pop up stall, by acclaimed illustrator Garry Milne. Garry will be selling prints throughout the night from his stand and showcasing some of his glorious work
Plus of course - the BBQ and other stands to be announced in the next few weeks!

Phil Clandillon and Steve Milbourne are a creative team unusually based in the record industry. They started working together in 2008 before setting up branded content agency FOAM within the walls of Sony Music, serving the groups roster as well as external brands.
They both like to mess around with a hands on approach in design, video, electronics, programming and anything else interesting, unusual or stupid; they're advocates of good branded content strategy
In the last few years the pair have picked up a host of awards including Best Music Ad at the UKMVAs, two Cannes Cyber Lions, an Interactive Clio, three LIAs (including gold in the 'new' category) , D&AD Nominations and Best Advertising Campaign two years running at the Guardian MEGAs.
