(M) Croft State Park - Southside trails
Details
Let’s enjoy a moderate hike in a local state park full of history. This hike starts at the Palmetto trail Croft Passage.
We will hike on the Southside loop until Center Line and weave through some of the connecting trails at Croft State Park. These trails are an up and down rolling ramble through a beautiful forest and partly alongside a river. We will also see 2 old family cemeteries during this hike.
We will meet for carpools at Earth Fare on Pelham Rd and depart at 9am. Hikers may also meet at the trailhead at 9:45am. We will begin the hike promptly at 10am. If you are meeting at the trailhead, please say so in the comments so we are not waiting unnecessarily at the carpool site.
Trailhead: Park at the Day Use Parking which is near the Horse Show Ring. This is the Palmetto Trail access trailhead, at the large parking area just beyond the park office.
M: 6, EG: 600. Moderate.
