Hello gnocode,
I have a few announcements that may be of interest to the group:

LinuxCon and CloudOpen Conferences
The LinuxCon and CloudOpen conferences are coming to New Orleans.  The conferences are going to be held at the Hyatt Regency on September 16-18th.  The Linux Foundation would like to offer a 20% discount to our group.  It's $460 (with the discount) to attend if you register before July 28th.
And enter the following code to receive the 20% discount: LCUSR2013
The conferences are three days, includes over 100 sessions in business, operations and developer tracks, and includes evening events, social opportunities and much more! In addition, several other open source events are co-located this year at the Hyatt Regency during LinuxCon, including Linux Plumbers Conference, the UEFI Forum, Xen User Summit, Linux Security Summit, Linux Wireless Summit, Gluster Community Workshop and more. Details can all be found on the website.

July Presentation
For our next meeting on Thursday July 11th, Jim Nanney will be presenting on pair programming.  The title of his talk is Apart in a Pair Tree: A remote pair programming story.  Check the meetup page for more information.

CSS Slides
Finally, here are Joe Ellis' slides from his presentation on Scalable CSS:
