#About the Virginia Key North Point Mountain Bike Trails
Virginia Key North Point Trails offers over 9 milesof mountain bike trails ranging from novice to advanced and expert. There is a variety of cool features and bridges to ride on, overlooking the beach and Downtown Miami.

The Virginia Key Mountain Bike Trail is a great example of a partnership between the Parks and Recreation Department and residents who have a passion for a sport and the willingness to develop a plan, motivate volunteers and make a vision come true. 8 years ago Bernard "Frenchy" Riviere, walked into the jungle that V.K was at the time and with an orange spray can and started marking the trails.
The rest is history. The Virginia Key Mountain Bike Club was soon founded and with the help of volunteers, Frenchy has continue to design and build trails just minutes from the magic city.
