Volunteers Needed to Serve Dinner at Women's Safehouse!

Serving Dinner at the Delores Project Women’s Safehouse, Tues. Nov. 4th, 6-8 PM, 6 Volunteers are needed. This is a fantastic facility that assists homeless women who have been in challenging situations! We can help bring some joy there while serving dinner & talking to residents as they come through the dinner line! The food is provided, we just need to heat it up and serve it to the residents as they come through the line. In addition to serving the food we will eat dinner towards the end of our shift prior to packing up the food items for storage. So many of our volunteers request this event! We have assisted this women’s safe shelter several times through several years and they have asked us back as we have fantastic groups of volunteers. The shelter is in West Denver. This is a confidential location that is given out to the volunteers after registering due to the nature of the facility. Both male & female volunteers are welcome to assist at this event.
We will be assisting our sponsoring organization, SVGD (Single Volunteers of Greater Denver with this event. We will once again be Going Out For a very Good Cause!
