Please indicate why you were interested in joining this particular meetup.

I took over as organizer when a charge was introduced for using this platform and a previous organizer resigned. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just "flying the flag" for a set of world-changing ideas... Ideas change the world---provided they are acted upon---because what we believe drives what we think, do, or do not do. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- See more: What we want: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- What we *do not want*:

Please indicate your committment to meetup on a scale of 1 to 5 (1=vaguely interested, 5=committed to make it a success)

5 (a big five) When no one turns up (I am a timid promoter) I think about the Possible Good World (PGW) and pumping *thought energy* into the NooSphere.

My "avatar" picture is an illustration of a choice facing human society. Using a Biblical metaphor, it illustrates that our current knowledge has helped us to reach the top rung of the evolutionary ladder. A very precarious place!

What Janos A. is saying about this Meetup Group

It is assumed that living in a good society benefits everyone. But we have different notions about what makes for a good society. The purpose of this meetup is to offer space for people who are interested in exchanging views on this important subject. However, recently it was decided to be a bit more focused. To this end meetups will now be centered around a worldwide movement with a vision to establish a Global Cooperative Forum. To provide a further central "holding point", a book titled Not Two Is Peace (available online: is recommended.
