Updates at Goodnik; GiR, Speaker Series, Find a CoFounder event

There are just a few things I wanted to remind you about that are going on at Goodnik;

First, Goodnik is now accepting applications for the Goodnik in Residence program at Grind’s new midtown location at 39th and Broadway. This is an exciting opportunity for one (or more?) social entrepreneurs to get access to a brand-new coworking facility in the heart of Manhattan, and to participate in the GiR extended program. If you or someone you know would be interested, please fill out the application at Goodnik.org.

Also, don’t forget we have an upcoming summer speaker series event next Tuesday with Kevin Lee, founder of We-Care (and also founder of the hugely successful marketing company DidIt.com). We’ll be meeting at Swift in the back room, which coincidentally is the place where Goodnik first got started so many years ago. So join us for some drinks with like-minded folks next Tuesday and hear a little about Kevin Lee’s social enterprise success story. RSVP soon before the event fills up.

Next, just a heads-up that we’re going to be hosting our first Social Enterprise Cofounder Match event in conjunction with CofoundersLab. It’ll be held at the new Grind space, and it’ll be an awesome opportunity to connect with other people who are interested in starting social enterprises either full or part time. I can’t overstate how important a good cofounder is to the success of any venture, so if you’re thinking of starting a social enterprise, this is the event to attend!

Finally, we are looking for a program manager for the Goodnik in Residence program. If you or someone you know might be interested, please email a resume to [address removed].

Thanks,

Nate
