We were looking at itineraries as part of our app idea during the workshop with Jay. +1 for validating ideas. :) http://thenextweb.com/apps/2014/08/06/holiday-rental-service-housetrip-launches-ios-app-guests-complete-group-itineraries/

Thanks for coming, Val! It was good to see you!

Good fun/work! Jay knows her stuff, and the hands-on methods demos were a great way to demystify the "black box" of design and learn by doing. Room ventilation/noise/acoustics were the only drawback. The content presented does deserve/need at least 6 hrs to get through. So I'd be game for another evening session detailing the last 3 steps, or a full day/full process. The example challenge was good, but might be better in long format to have interest groups self-organize to work on more diverse examples. Maybe the HUB would let us use their space?

In some ways, my zen moment was realizing that the basic principles/workshop activities can be mapped to how an "app" would actually be developed to function :)

Thanks to Jay, Conrad, Clara, Galvanize It, and the "small team" (down to 3 at some point) I was with for the great learning experience!

Yeah, hopeful/looking forward to more (full day/weekend)!
