Getting Open Source/Standard Logic into Government (GOSLING)

  • Pour Boy

495 Somerset st. W, Ottawa, ON (map)

    45.413860 -75.700478

  • We have a weekly informal gathering of Open Source advocates and users each Friday. The attendance varies and so do the topics under discussion. Come drop by and celebrate the start of the weekend with a little open source talk.

At Pour Boy, please look for the geeky folks upstairs. If you aren't sure where we are, please ask the staff for pointers to us. (Please note Pour Boy accepts cash only. They have an ATM available.)

On the first Friday of each month, we meet a local open source business where we have a larger informal meeting with the occasional short presentation. Those events are BYOD and BYOB.

Newbies and those thinking about starting with open source in a government context (any level) are always welcome. Experts who are willing to help new folks are also welcome.
