N.B. This workshop will be very similar to last Thursday's workshop. If you attended on Thursday, kindly let other community members register first.
Are you looking to take your Sass chops to the next level? Are you just starting out with Sass and want to cut straight through the cruft to best practices and techniques? This 2hr SassShop is a hands on experience designed to cover the Sass feature set from a practical, daily use perspective. Our goal is to have you leaving feeling more comfortable with Sass. We hope you will walk out with new Sassy insights to take back to your team or solo-practice as well as techniques for improving your front-end development process.
Comfort and knowledge with CSS and HTML. If you are new to CSS, this workshop will be too advanced for you.
Due to limitations of time, please come with Sass running on your computer. If you need help setting up your development environment, please reach out to Claudina in advance.
Highly Recommenced: If you are not using rbenv, a build tool, and/or bundler and want to know why these tools are fundamental to a better Sass workflow, watch Ian Carrico's excellent 2013 SassConf talk Taking the Pain Out of Sass (https://vimeo.com/86306777) in advance of class.
Space is limited. Kindly RSVP if you are 110% certain you will attend. We will continue to host more SassShops if there is community interest continues to be so overwhelming.
