How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)

I have been in the water since I was two. I was a competitive swimmer thru college. I started windsurfing in 84 and sailing a Sunfish in 93. Bought a wooden dory in 99 and a 30' sailboat in 2000. I love everything about sailing and have been doing it regularly for over 30 years.

What type boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? What sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??

Mostly sailed on our 30 foot Newport but some big cats as well. I am a cruiser at heart and love to do 4-5 day trips around the bay, Delta and Napa River. 9-17 update, just purchased a 40' Jeanneau for our adventure to Mexico in 2018.

If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.

Our Jeanneau 40 is a beautiful boat. She is from France and sails like a dream. Join us for a sail!

Do you have any US sailing or ASA certificates? Do you bareboat charter?

Chartered in the BVI in April 2008 for a week with my wife and my two sisters and their husbands. We had a 58' cat for a week with a captain and a gourmet chef. It was one of the greatest trips ever with lots of SCUBA and fine wines and food. Also charted in the Sea of Cortez, Belize, the Grenadines and the Leeward Islands of the Lesser Antilles.

Are you disabled or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).

Sailing is my passion and I enjoy sharing my passion with others. I have a great boat in Emeryville and sail once a week. Let's go sailing! Plus, I love meeting fellow thalassophiles.
