How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)

I started sailing in rough waters of the English Channel, and moved to SF for it's warm(?) waters. After many years of sailing, I've come to a conclusion that it is easier to make new sailor friends than to convert your friends into sailors.

What type boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? What sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??

I have sailed on many boats. Too many to list. I have experience in beer can races and would like to race offshore someday. For now, I take my boat out regularly for day/evening sail in the Bay, picnic at Angel Island, and weekend coastal trips.

If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.

I have an Ericson[masked] berthed in Emery Cove Yahct Harbor. It is a US Coast Guard documented vessel.

Do you have any US sailing or ASA certificates? Do you bareboat charter?

Yes. US Sailing BK, BC, BBC, CoNav, and OCSC Asym. spinnaker, US Coast Guard safety training, etc.. I will be taking OUPV/six-pack license test soon. I have chartered bareboat occasionally.

Are you disabled or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).

No. But I have experience skippering boats for people with limited mobility.

Introduction

I am always looking for people to go sailing with. I've learned a lot from sailing with other people. Hopefully, they will learn a thing or two from me, even if it's a case of what NOT to do!
