How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)

In high school I took a sailing class, on El Toros. In my twenties, I crewed around the bay with a group of older friends. However, in 2009 I decided to initiate my own training at the Spinnaker Sailing School.

What type boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? What sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??

Most of my experience is on a Santanna 22, and some on a 27. I have only skippered around the bay. I have chartered the 22, the Qu' Appelle, approximately 14 times, out of South Beach 40 always with one or two newbies, which I schooled before the sail. I have gone on 3 Meet-ups (two aren't listed here, and I don't know why) once on the Willin, and twice on the Imagine. All were awesome sails - the wing to wing on the Willin was so cool. However, the sail, on the Imagine, to the Farallones was one of the highlights of my life. I haven't taken the Qu'Appelle out since July 29, 2013.

If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.

Not yet.

Do you have any US sailing or ASA certificates? Do you bareboat charter?

I am ASA certified to skipper a boat up 27 feet on any bay or inlet.

Are you disabled or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).

None that I'm aware of.

San Francisco resident for 34 years, my active passions are, cars, Criminal Justice, Oceanography, aquariums, swimming and of course sailing.

What Robert S. is saying about this Meetup Group

Well, this was my maiden voyage; if the rest are as good as my cruise on Willin, then I'm in for an amazing season. Thank you, Got Wind and Water.
