Hello fellow sailors and adventurers,

This is that moment when there is one cabin left to fill a boat!   This means that you will not have to wait for the next boat to fill and secure the price right now.   That's right,  you make your deposit and you are going!   Right now we have booked 4 boats and this will be the 5th!   This "Golden Cabin" is only available to a couple.  This might just be the last boat as our options are limited and prices for the next boat will me much higher.

$1500 per person based on double occupancy. 50% due to secure your reservation. Image removed by sender.

Come join us on our flotilla to Thailand and explore the waters around the Phi Phi islands in the Andaman Sea. Famous places are the Phi Phi Islands where "The Beach" was filmed and James Bond Island. We will be exploring the islands by catamaran and there will be plenty of places to take the dinghy and paddleboards to find hidden caves and beaches. Snorkeling is also amazing in these parts of the world. If you wish to fly in early to enjoy other festivals before the flotilla, the Songkran Festival is April 13 and the Full Moon Party is on April 11. This is an amazing time of year! Information about the festivals are at the bottom of this event description.

Day 1: Land in Phuket and make your way to the hotel. Relax…as it has been a long journey.

Day 2: Go exploring in town and see some sights.  There are many things to do at the end of the Songkran festival.

Day 3: Self-provisioning. Make your way to the market and shop for boat provisions. Embark on the boat @ noon with your group and sail to the first destination of Koh Hong to meet up with the rest of the group as we all might embark at different locations.

Day 4: Sail to Koh Roi where you will find a small fishing village to purchase the catch of the day. From here, you can dinghy over to James Bond Island. This is when all of the guys start talking like Sean Connery and call the women "money penny"

Day 5: We will make our way to Koh Yao Noi. This is a very busy island compared to the last 2 stops with restaurants and nightlife. There is plenty of exploring to be had. You can take a taxi around the island to different stops or just lounge on the beach all day!

Day 6: Short day sail to Koh Dam Khwan. This means you can sleep in and rest after the last night’s activities. Koh Dam Khwan has amazing snorkeling and coral reefs or you can just spend the day floating in a life jacket.

Day 7: Phi Phi Island is our next stop. This place is ranked in the top 10 places to visit. The Phi Phi Islands are stunning and filled with hidden beaches and rock cliffs rising out of the water. Phi Phi can get very busy but we will be spending the night and the day tourists have to leave. This is our chance to have it all to ourselves.

Day 8: Big sail day back to Phuket Island and head over to Koh Rang Yai. We will pass through amazing dive locations and might be able to arrange a dive. Koh Rang Yai has beautiful mountains to hike, bike and canoe. Top the day off with eating at one of their restaurants for dinner.

Day 9: Short trip back to the marina and disembark. From there, you will head back to the hotel for the last night. Again you can rest or spend your night out on the town.

Day 10: Wave good bye to Thailand and head home.

Sail itinerary can change due to weather and Charter company restrictions.

I have been in contact with all of the agencies in the area and have found the best deal. We will book 40 - 48ft catamarans brands from Lagoon, Leopard and Nautitech. Depends on availability.

Bookings: Boats will be booked in groups of 8 (or 6 with the owner version – only 1 available). Once we receive the correct number for deposits we will book the catamaran and notify the group to look for flights.

What is included: 6 nights on board a 40-48ft catamaran with AC*, paddle board, insurance, tax, 3 nights land accommodations, snorkeling equipment, towels and linens.

What is not included: Travel cancellation insurance, land transportation, national park fees, mooring ball fees, food, airfare, tours and tips and anything else not mentioned in the included. AC* 5euro per hour generator use fee is extra

Provisioning: Once your group has booked the boat, there are 2 choices for feeding yourself along the water. You can choose a pre-planned provisioning package or shop on your own. It can be quite fun to shop in local places and save money too. I have sample meal plans from past trips to help with the planning. Lastyear, we fed everyone on board for 5 days with $70 each. We also ate dinner every other night on an island and we plan on doing the same on this trip.

Accommodations: Onboard the boat, rooms can be occupied by a couple or a single w/supplement and also peak berths. Peak births do not have AC. Hotels are based on double occupancy. Each cabin has a en suite bathroom. Singles cabin occupants will be required to share the bathroom with the peak berth occupant.

Captain: One of the catamarans will have a local captain for finding the best spots. The other will have very experienced catamaran sailors or an instructor for taking lessons. Imagine receiving your ASA 114 after this trip so you can take YOUR friends out next time!
