Introduction:

Android development is growing fast, the modern state of tools and approaches is evolving and changing. RxJava2, DataBinding and Kotlin all those came into play not so long ago and going to be a big thing sooner. Talks will be accessible to all levels: we welcome beginner and engineers who already have an experience with those topics on Thursday 30th March 2017.

Stepan Goncharov is the lead Android Engineer at 90 Seconds, Main contributor of RxKotlinm and RxDatabindings author. Besides, he is also technical blogger, OSS lover and Kotlin addict. Leading teams, creating products, engineering Android Apps and games since 2008. Stepan is also Gym rat, PS4 player and wakeboarder in spare time.

Ilya Vorobev, an Android developer with 5 years experience, helps musicians to create and get inspiration by developing the Bandlab android app. He believes that developers do a very significant impact on business growth. Ilya is also keen on mobile technologies, VR, data science and game development.

Andrey Mischenko is the Android lead at BandLab. Kotlin Coroutines for Retrofit author. He Has been working as an Android developer for the last five years, the two of them for BandLab and the last year with Kotlin. Andrey became mobile development from full stack web development, and continued to work on social and messaging services for Android.

Format:

Three (3) short Presentations and a demo followed by ~20 minutes of audience Q&A for a total of ~one and a half (1.5) hours.
