Calling all Java learners!
The London Java Community invite you to join them at a practical workshop covering the basic principles of coding with Java with plenty of time to practice and ask questions. There will be one-to-one mentoring from experienced Java developers from within the LJC.
**This workshop continues the agenda started at an LJC workshop in September. Don't be put off as it’s not too late to get involved. Come along tonight - there will be coding buddies to help you make the most of the evening.**
The agenda for the evening covers:
- Java Basics:
- Primitives, Arrays, Strings, Objects, flow control, Methods, Classes, Packages and keywords and key concepts that you’ll need defined.
- Java Compiler and run-time basics:
- Javac, Java, Hotspot, GC, Classes and Classloader
The workshop is a relaxed and friendly way to develop your coding skills. All questions are welcomed - we are all here to learn together!
Tonight's session will be led by LJC co-leader, Martijn Verburg.
