Announcing a new Meetup for The New York Groovy / Grails Meetup Group!

What: Polyglot Programming on the JVM

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer!

We have a joint meetup with New York Scala Enthusiasts to bring you polygot programming on JVM. This meetup will focus on three languages that work on the JVM - Clojure, Groovy and Scala.

Dustin Whitney, Nathan Hamblen and David Nolen will talk about Groovy, Scala and Clojure respectively. The talks will be fairly high level, and will focus on the design goals of each language and what sets it apart from the others.
