What are you interested in learning about graph databases?

I cut my teeth on network databases, which are superior in many ways to relational. Graph databases appear to have even greater flexibility than network to support complex data structures and relationships.

Are you using any NOSQL databases today? Which and for what?

Nothing yet, but I'm developing a Hadoop platform for a client. We expect to make use of Hbase and Hive.

Husband, father of two, grandfather of seven. I've been a Database Administrator for almost 30 years. I'm currentlly getting up to speed on Hadoop and Big Data. I live in Frederick and work in Woodlawn.
