The Neo4j graph database web app appeared to be a well designed solution. The presenter showed examples using the Cypher query language and the data output, along with a discussion of how the language is filtered creating excellent performance processing of under 1 sec. Liked the open style with questions and answers dispersed throughout the presentation. Appreciated that I & all participants were able to receive a copy of the O'Reilly book on Graph Databases (cool octopus cover!) published June 2013. I enjoyed the vegie pizza (wish they supplied plastic knives for the soft end) while others enjoyed the beer (since I'm one of those Asians that is allergic to alcohol). This is an excellent presentation for those with relational database experience, are curious and want to learn about new technologies. Thanks to Neo4j!
