What are you interested in learning about graph databases?

Strengths and limitations of the leading graph databases. What architectural & implementation decisions give graph DBs superior performance for graph apps versus a traditional RDBMS, and what capabilities they are are inferior for by being optimized for graph apps.

Are you using any NOSQL databases today? Which and for what?

Neo4J - just trial apps at the moment.

Introduction

Developed a decision support RDBMS for supercomputers in the 1990's. Currently modeling electricity realtime prices. Interested in big data (including graph dbs) for pattern extraction, machine learning and non-linear optimization.
