Utilizing InDesign CC For Website Design

Traditionally, designers prefer to work in Photoshop as their go to design program when making a home brewed website, that is, a site from scratch versus WordPress or similar website platforms. These images are then optimized and used in conjunction with HTLM and/or Dreamweaver/CSS.

Kevin Shea of KNK Creative Services is going to show us how a traditional layout in InDesign…yes, InDesign, can be utilized as another program for outputting work for use in HTML and Dreamweaver/CSS. He will present how to create a template from scratch, optimize the file in InDesign CC, and how to export for use on the web. There will be a Q & A session with our presenter to follow.

We will be hosting this event at our usual location at the PsPrint facility. Food and beverages will be provided. As always, make sure to bring business cards and be ready to learn and network before and after the presentation.

This will be a presentation not to miss!

My kids have a school concert. I won't be able to make it. Sounded like a great meetup. Bummed.

To get to this location from downtown: Blue line ride, airport shuttle, and then a Pace bus. Sorry, I'll pass.
