This is a survey to assess no for participants willing to do trekking this weekend. With rainy season set in and weather being conducive to trekking, there should be no further delay...

We plan to embark on journey at 5.00 AM from Hyderabad. This would be ad-hoc trekking in where we might stop on the way to most beckoning peaks of Bhuvanagiri and Yadagirigutta.
This area is covered with many hills that can be trekked and can not be...As of now; we plan to do trekking on friendly peaks.

We plan to trek the whole day and return to Hyderabad around 7-8 PM. Note that this is monsoon trek hence we will be happily welcoming rain on the day of Trek. Please be prepared to get drenched and have fun!

Bhongir, Bhongiri or Bhuvanagiri is a town.It is 48 km from Hyderabad. Bhongir is famous for its fort, which became prominent during the rule of the Kakatiyas.

The Fort was built on an isolated monolithic rock by the Western Chalukya ruler Tri-bhuvana-malla Vikram-aditya VI and was named after him as Tribhuvanagiri. This name gradually became Bhuvanagiri and subsequently Bhongir. According to legend, there once was an underground corridor connecting Bhongir Fort to Golconda Fort. Please note that this Trek doesn't intend to find that corridor

We will first trek Bhongir fort on our journey to Yadagirigutta.
