In Monsoon Lonavala becomes the Hot Destination for all the Trekkers, But Apart from the routine places “Kataldhar Waterfall Trek” gives us the immense pleasure of Trekking. “Katal” means a Rock & “Dhar” means a Waterfall. Now Imagine you are Rappelling from the top of Kataldhar waterfall for around 350 feet with a overhang of more than 100 feet.

Day 0(Fri ):
8:40 pm : Catch train to Lonavala(Mumbai Express)
11.00 am:Arrival at lonavala
11.30 am:Start Journey by Local Sumo towards Phanasrai.
12.30 pm:Reach Phanasrai. Equipment Distributuion, Introduction, etc
01.00 pm:Start a Trek of 30 Minutes towards Starting of Waterfall.
01.30 pm:Reach Starting point of Waterfall & Start Rappelling One by One.
06.00 pm:Rappelling Ends & Start a Trek of 2 Hours to reach Top of Waterfall.
08:00 pm:Reach Top of Waterfall.
09:00 pm:Dinner and return To Pune
1:20 AM : Board on to Train to Reach Hyderabad
12:30 PM : Reach Hyderabad

Note: Most of us may not be serious trekkers but all of us have equal responsibility in protecting our beloved earth. GHAC earnestly requests all its members to be socially responsible whilst the treks and avoid any littering, shouting when in wild or causing anything that would disturb the normal ecology.
1) No smoking and no alcohol
2) No littering, no pollution of water
3) This is not a luxury trip, but all care has been taken to make your trip comfortable
4) Ladies and gents accommodation is separate in tents.
5) Food will be mostly vegetarian
6) We carry Basic First Aid and if you need anything you can ask the organizers
7) If you feel unwell bring to the notice of the organizers immediately.
8) If you can't swim don't go deep into the water
