Hi Green Friends,
I am writing to offer you an opportunity. Many holistic practitioners and green businesses find their BEST new clients come from Silent Auction bidders and Door Prize winners.
The audience for this Silent Auction is environmentally conscious people with good income. The auction would run in conjunction with a Helen Caldicott, MD visit at the end of May or first of June, 2010. Dr. Caldicott leads an international campaign to educate the public about the medical hazards of the nuclear age, and the changes needed in human behavior right now.
And while this project isn't directly for Sierra Club, it does go for a worthy cause. For this Silent Auction, money raised will go to the local group BEST (Bellefonte Efficiency and Sustainability Team), a non-profit that seeks to educate the public about the dangers of nuclear (tons of radioactive waste to be stored 30,000 years), and promote smarter energy sources while potentially stopping the building of a nuclear reactor in Bellefonte AL approximately 40 miles SW of Chattanooga.
Your donation of PRODUCTS (programmable thermostats, solar attic fans, scooters, air purifiers, water purifiers, vitamin / mineral / healthy supplement type products, etc) SERVICES, (air vent cleaning, home energy audits, green landscaping), or THERAPIES (massage, chiropractic, physical therapy, etc), would be going to this very good cause.
And while you're donating, you're also getting the word out about your business, and potentially finding BEST new clients! We welcome Acupuncture Series, Massage Sessions and Series, Chiropractic First Week, Allergy Elimination Series, Energy Medicine or Healing Sessions or Classes, and almost anything else holistic that would fit with the green community.
Please email: [address removed] if interested in donating.
