What we’re about

The Grief Journey is a lonely one. It’s not enough that the depths of grief can knock you to your knees in both mental anguish and physical pain, but it’s profusely isolating. Whether you've experienced a recent loss or working through a years-ago loss and while every loss has different circumstances and details and our relationships are unique with those we have lost, it can be extremely comforting to reach out to people who are also on the Grief Journey.

This is our opportunity to connect and bring us together as listeners and supporters. While our lives will never be the same, this we know, we can recover. And recovering means walking with and learning from others.

"The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing… not healing, not curing… that is a friend who cares." (Henri Nouwen)
