Details

Join us for this month's Getting Things Done NYC Productivity Group Meetup event, where we get to look over the shoulder of a fellow, longtime GTDer for tips and techniques they've learned that will help us level up our own Getting Things Done-inspired productivity systems! This month, we have Michelle Gunn (who also hosts the GTD Virtual Study Group podcast) doing the member-presentation this month.

This month, we're hosted by WeWork, thanks to John Chidiac, Tenlegs. Thank John when you see him! (If you have any difficulties finding the place or getting in, call John at[masked].)

I. Agenda, Introductions & Challenges Forum (6:45 PM)

A. Mix & Mingle (6:45 - 7:00 PM)
Time to get coffee or water, settle in and complete the Challenges Forum signup form before the GTD NYC Meetup begins. Please arrive in enough time so we can start on time!

B. Introductions - (7:00-7:05 PM)
Each member will introduce yourself briefly, telling us what you do professionally, your GTD experience, and a recent success with your productivity implementation and/or life.

C. Challenges Forum - (7:30 PM)
We'll give 3-4 minutes each to have the group help members with solutions to challenges we may be facing currently in life or work circumstances with our productivity system. These are specific productivity challenges and only one challenge per member for time's sake, for those who sign up. RSVP and arrive early as we only have limited slots for first-come-first-served participants in the Challenges Forum!

II. Member-Presentation: Michelle Gunn (~8:15 - 8:45 PM)

Come see Michelle Gunn demo her GTD-inspired productivity system, to see what parts might be useful to yours.

Please feel free to bring your copy of Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity (https://amzn.to/2FllWn1) for reference, your questions and thoughts!

III. GTD Resource Sharing (8:45 PM)

Each attendee can offer a book title, recent blog or magazine article, tip, tool, app, service or item that has helped you. You may share any productivity resource that has helped you on your journey.

I encourage everyone to bring some kind of GTD or personal productivity resource they know about or use to offer to the group!

IV. Announcements / Closing Remarks (8:50 PM)

Upcoming Meetup events, and additional programs, announcements will be given. If you are not receiving the Meetup notifications about Meetups and our other productivity activities (e.g., Productivity Book Group ( http://productivitybookgroup.org/ ), #ProdChat, the weekly Twitter chat ( http://rsidneysmith.com/prodchat )), and sign up directly here for email notifications ( https://app.mailerlite.com/webforms/landing/e3q4p6 ). All other announcements must be sent to the Meetup Organizer via a Meetup message to announce to the group, at his/her sole discretion. Thank you!
