Buddhism in a Nutshell is an introductory course on Buddhism for complete beginners. It presents basic Buddhist philosophy and principles within the Tibetan Mahayana context, and provides simple meditation instruction. We will look at the history of Buddhism and the life of Shakyamuni Buddha, as well as his main discovery of the human condition, the four noble truths. Also, we will discuss the primary feature of the Mahayana Tradition, the Bodhichitta motivation, the wish to liberate all sentient beings from cyclic existence.
