Any level of expertise is welcome, whether you’re completely new, or you already have a few tricks up your sleeve.

This is a jam class which is hosted by Shaun, its focus is on strumming chords, singing, and having a great time. You'll also be provided your own song books that we'll be progressively adding to, so after some time you'll have your own books that you'll be able to jam out when you're camping, busking, traveling, whatever!

At its very basic - this class is a fun way to wind down and destress through music. Give it a go, it will be the highlight of your week. This is a really fun, low pressure class - we learn the songs that you'd like to learn. You can join a class that already exists or create one with your friends. Groups can be up to 15 people (including me). The class goes for about an hour and 20 minutes.

The class is a job that I love, the venue is comfortable, airconditioned and clean, and you get a glass of wine! I'm keeping it at a very competitive cost - at $25 per session if paid by semester. ($30 if paid by lesson) The sessions run Monday nights at 6pm.

If you'd like a free sample of the class you can download the free Podcast and chord charts - just search 'Guitar By The Glass (https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/guitar-by-the-glass/id)' in iTunes, and you'll find it under the 'Podcasts' section, just click subscribe and listen. Or visit my website! https://www.guitarbytheglass.com . Everything is there.

Now get that neglected guitar from out of the closet/under the bed, come on over, meet some new friends, and do some jammin!

Guitar By The Glass every Monday 6pm at Moondyne Joe's

Moondyne Joe's

A$30.00

There's a big parking lot out the back - it's free! Plenty of spaces! (I don't think Meetup is showing the photos I've been using, there should be a photo of Moondyne Joe's here) Come into the front door on the corner of Wray and Hampton rd (There should be a photo of a guitar, a glass of wine, and a table in a cozy looking bar here) This is what you'll be looking for. I'll be there too. Common Questions and Answers Q. What do I need to bring? A. Your instrument, a capo, a music stand, an instrument stand. If you only have your instrument, thats fine - I have spare capos and music stands, though they can run out. Q. Do you have any other locations? A. Yes, at Plume Estate Valley every 2nd Friday. I put those events on Meetup as well. Q. Why is it $30? A. The resources I put together each week take me quite a while. I make sure they're correct and easily readable. It makes it convenient for people to show up with just their instrument and be able to join in. I make all of the resources I make available online to all the people who come to the sessions (over 6 songbook with over 200 chord charts now). I also have additional resources including videos that are only accessible to the group, which includes recordings of us playing so you can go back and practice along, as well as video lessons For 2 hours of solid playing with a group of people in a cozy environment, I believe this is a fair price, as do the people who come - as some have been coming for over 3 years now. The money that I make from these sessions allows me the time to invest back into the sessions. Q. Do you have a session NOR? A. I get emails at least every other week asking if sessions will start north of the river, or in other places - at the moment it’s not likely to happen immediately. It takes a while to find a pub that has the right ‘feel’ (comfortable, cozy, good sound), to get the trust of the pub, and for them to really understand what atmosphere we’re trying to create for them. So getting pubs onboard isn’t always easy - having said that, I’m always on the lookout for new locations.
