Good morning all. Just a last minute suggestion. If you are joining us for a coffee and/or a bite to eat afterwards, please consider bringing a spare set of shoes to change into.... simply to avoid tracking too much mud into Wegman's.

Almost forgot to sign up for my own hike !! Silly me. I was able to scope out the trails today. Not all that many big hills so I will plan to keep the pace up a little to get in a little exercise on this "moderate/strenuous" hike. Expect SOME MUDDY SECTIONS especially at the beginning and end of the hike... and especially if it rains on Friday night as predicted. Hiking boots recommended. The hike will likely be less than 5 miles (and not 5-6 miles as posted). If anyone wishes to meet for coffee and/or a bite to eat afterwards, we will meet at Eastway Wegmans at the corner of Bay Rd. and Empire Blvd. NOTE ABOUT HIKE PARKING: The trail head parking lot will not accommodate everyone. If the lot is full, simply park along side Whiting Road. Please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so we can get everyone signed in and begin hiking close to 9. Thanks everyone. See you on Saturday : -)

@Joe Yo- you may want to warn hikers they may have to park along the road because of limited parking . I had a complaint on my lead because someone didn't realize this.
You have quite a large group !
