Robert Dorenstreich, or Bob D. for short. I am looking to change any number of personal behaviors, patterns, and habits so as to improve my quality of healh, life, happiness, and fulfillment. One example is I'm trying to transition from a typical American diet/lifestyle to a Raw, Vegan, Local, Seasonal Diet, as well as to return to a set of workouts that used to form the foundation of past habits. I just had major surgery, so I'm feeling somewhat frustrated with the pace of my recovery, and my ability to work out, but all in all, I have to say I haven't felt (for the most part, moodwise) better than this in a long time!

8 and 9 years old, my younger brother and I both suffered from hay fever, and both of us took Teldrin, a prescription only antihistamine at the time. Neither one of us got much relief from doing so, however. This is when I simply decided that "I have no allergies," and son of a gun, I was able to reprogram myself with that belief, and experienced almost complete remission. My brother chose to go through a full battery of allergy tests and desensitization treatments, which later developed into multiple nasal surgeries, etc. I used to run experiments with scabs I'd get while playing, where I would focus healing attentiona and energy to one scab on one leg, but not another on the other leg. It was always fascinating to me to experience first hand volutional control over those things we're taught as children we have no control over. I've done a ton of biofeedback, NLP, and a variety of other practices, all designed to give me greater control over my life.

Not sure I'd want to until I've checked out and vetted this group for myself first.
Hi! My name is Robert Dorenstreich, or Bob D. for short. I have had a lifelong fascination with habit change, habit formation, personal growth, etc. I've done all sorts of different personal development programs, read a ton of books on the topic.
