    John,

There are some excellent amateur radio groups that might be more convenient for you such as the Loudon Area Radio Group (LARG) or Vienna Wireless Society (VWS). You can stay in touch with HARC by joining our mailing list at: https://groups.google.com/a/hacdc.org/group/harc-list/subscribe

    Thanks,

    Martin

Hi. Just found this. I'm an active member of the DC Area Drones User Group, another meetup based network. Recently I got my General license, but don't yet have a radio. I live in rural northern VA about 1.5-2 hours away and commute to DC several days a week. It is unlikely that I can attend many weekday meetings, but I would like to stay in touch.
