Summer Art Festival '17 presents an AbletonLive demonstration workshop showcasing how David Bergeron uses Max4Live and various tools to incorporate interactivity into creating electronic music, giving a chance to see some of the possible ways of navigating the technologies. The event will be accessible to all, but will be even more beneficial if you have previous experience in any of the following: electronic music, programming, sound programming, Digital Audio Workstations, or creative thinking.
With a practice that is rooted in audio, David Bergeron creates pieces that span from interactive to orchestral. His current research involves the development of software tools to be used in creation, performance, and installation. The tools are focused around Open Sound Control (OSC) and aim to wirelessly connect auditory components to tangible objects or environments, in the performance/installation space.
