JavaScript Mini Bootcamp: Fundamentals I
Please Register on Eventbrite for this workshop: Goal: At this workshop you will solidify your understanding of basic JavaScript, building up to the point that you are comfortable problem solving by writing simple functions with conditionals and for loops. This is a highly interactive course that uses exercises and projects to drive home these JavaScript Fundamentals. You will finish this course with in-depth knowledge of some of the most important aspects of the language. Topics covered: Functions, Conditionals and Loops Who this workshop is for: This workshop is for beginners with very little JavaScript experience. You should complete the prerequisites listed below before attending this mini bootcamp. Prerequisites: • Strongly Recommended (1): Watch and Code up to and including “Interlude - Data types and comparisons” • Strongly Recommended (2): First four chapters of Eloquent JavaScript What to bring: Students will need to bring their own laptops! This meetup is run by Hack Reactor Los Angeles, a 3 month immersive software engineering school part of the national Reactor Core Network. Our mission is to teach a driven community of students the latest in web development skills. We're educators first and software engineers second. We employ 21st century, rapid-iteration teaching principles to teach professionals the most in-demand skills in the most effective ways possible.

We will host coding workshops in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Git, networking events for tech professionals in the Los Angeles area, and community events to provide support and a platform for the the tech scene.
