Comments? Letters to the Editor? Discussion? Annotation? What is the new public forum?

Join us at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 30 for lightning talks and panel discussion with Lauren Bertolini & Mikolaj Szabó (Kinja), Jane Friedhoff (The New York Times R&D Lab), Blair Hickman (The Marshall Project), Andrew Losowsky (The Coral Project) and Derek Mead (Motherboard).

They'll talk about how they approach the challenges of encouraging civil discourse: the product decisions, the engineering considerations and the whole crazy ball of wax that is human conversation.

Schedule:

6:30 p.m.: Doors, dinner + socializing

7 p.m.: Lightning talks, panel discussion + Q&A with Lauren Bertolini & Nikolaj Szabó, Jane Friedhoff, Blair Hickman, Andrew Losowsky and Derek Mead.

~8:15 p.m.: Hiring announcements, networking and socializing
