Slides from November & next year

From: Dan H.

Hope you're all well and enjoyed the last meet-up in November. Sorry
for the delay with getting the slides and content out to everyone from
that evening. I've put the slides up from the StumbleUpon talk and
links to content for the other two all up on Lanyard so you can easily
browse to it all. I guess an early Christmas present with some light
reading, enjoy:

I've also started on some plans for talks next year. As we've got
quite a few new members joining I'll be starting off with a
introduction evening with a brush over the details of what Hadoop is,
and why people use it. Then we'll also have a more practical talk from
Amazon on how you can easily and cheaply get started using Hadoop on
their cloud platform.

I'll be sending out more details for this shortly, in the mean time if
you would like to give a talk about anything you do with Hadoop or
related technologies at a late date in the year please get it touch!

Have a good Christmas and New Years.

Dan Harvey
