Only managed to catch the second talk but glad I did.

Really good to see someone in the JS field is tackling one of the areas I think needs catching up in comparison to our static language counterparts.

Will certainly be looking into some of the items you raised to help keep the quietly up with my dev team. Coming from a C#/Java background it always seemed like something was missing in the tool chain.

    Good work Tim.

You can always arrive late for the second talk... the venue prefers us to leave by 20:00, though many people then head to the pub for a few hours.

Since the first talk is about Responsive design and the second is TBD, if you guys want I can do a talk about some of the design decisions in terms of JS and CSS that we did behind our implementation of http://www.ebay.co.uk/rpp/deals/

I am trying to use the datagrid from dojo version 1.9. It works fine when I don't have to update it regularly. In another situation I would like to update the entire dataGrid once every 40 secs. The browser posts a new request get all the data back (json), and I want the browser to stay where it is - e,g, at row 320. I.e. I cannot just delete the store and put the data into a new one, and assign it to the dataGrid. I thought dataGrid.setItems would save my day.
    Thank you for any help
