We have two interesting talks scheduled for October 9th.

Nick Nisi from SitePen will be in London to deliver SitePen's Dojo workshop series (http://www.sitepen.com/workshops/index.html?series=london-10-2014). He will be talk about the recent Intern 2 release! He will be followed by Matt Zeunert, who will give a talk about Debugging mobile websites.

About the speakers:

Nick Nisi. Nick is a Software Engineer and instructor at SitePen, working remotely from Omaha, Nebraska. He is also co-organizer of NebraskaJS and Beer && Code. He is @nicknisi on Twitter and Github.

Matt Zeunert. Matt is a front-end developer specialising on single-page apps. After leaving his role at a startup he became a contractor and is currently working for online shopping aggregator Shufflehub.

About the talks:

Intern 2: Intern, the popular open source JavaScript testing stack, was recently updated to greatly simplify the challenges encountered when testing against Selenium servers. This talk will give an overview of Intern, highlight some of the improvements with Intern 2, and also talk through patterns for creating code that is easier to test.

Debugging mobile websites: Over the last few years new tools have become available to make testing and debugging mobile websites easier. This talk will focus on using Chrome's built-in developer tools to emulate device properties and then demonstrate how to use phone simulators and remote debugging.
