Through their power and wealth, the Medici shaped and influenced Renaissance architecture. Dr. Louis Waldman will explore the Medici family’s impact in building the legendary Renaissance architecture of Florence, as well as the significance of the structures they commissioned. A leading authority of the Medici, Waldman is associate professor of Italian Renaissance and Baroque art at University of Texas at Austin.

Let's gather in the main lobby across from the ticket area near the large bench (look for the green tiara).

We have a corporate membership with the museum so the discount price will be $14.00 per ticket. I will present the paperwork at the corporate window, and everyone pays individually for their ticket.

If you have a HMNS Membership, the discount price is $12.00 per person.

There is very limited free parking near the museum entrance with additional free parking in Hermann Park. Garage parking is available at the museum for $10.00 when presenting your museum ticket.
