It was a FUN day! Riding with Scott & Tim - joking around, having fun on the ride made it great. It was nice to block that freaking wind for each other too (except for the wheel leech that sucked off us) LOL. Saw Matthew for about 30 second, I think he's back to his old form! Gettin' faster...

I had a great time on this ride; and proud of myself for making it up Mt. Tam. Met up with a group of riders from Palo Alto on the route; it was great to have some company on the ride.

Have fun you guys!!! Wishing you mild temps, blue skies, no mechanicas/flats and tireless legs! Wish I was riding with you :) Tell me all about it!

Tim B, Matt W, Scott M, myself. We will all be at the 5AM start, so riding together would be good. Obviously it's easy to get separated & ride different paces, etc. BUT - we can get stick together if we work on it. I think we all ride pretty close to the same speeds, based on rides like DM or with Matthew, the TT.

I think just seeing some faces I know will been great. I've been off my game a bit lately fighting fatigue etc... hopefully the rest I've given my legs this week will help.

Who's riding the double beside Scott M and Myself? I'm thinking it may be nice to have some company during the ride.

I will be a volunteer this Saturday. Probably directing a little bike traffic near Valley Ford. Say hi as you roll on by.

Funny you say that because the TT is the best ;)) Followed closely by the Alta Alpina Challenge - he he;))

Riding the Double for the fourth time. This isn't the best Double but it's very close.

I love this ride - the best DB on the circuit, IMHO ;-)

Does anyone doing century/double and staying in area Saturday night want to do a recovery ride Sunday? Was thinking Tiburon to Sausalito and back, mixture of road and bike trail, around 22 miles RT, no huge climbs. Could also head over GG into SF, then from SF we can ride back or take ferry to back to Tiburon (~20 miles w/ ferry, ~40 miles RT). I will post a meet-up for around 10am in Tiburon if anyone is interested

Staying the night at my long time friends house in Novato -- it's a yearly get together for us, last year we hammered on his home made moonshine and brew -- short answer -- I will be in no condition to do anything except *maybe* breath on Sunday ;-)

Was not quite clear in post below, I have a hotel room in San Ramon Fri/Sat night, I was looking to see if anyone wanted to share with me

Looking to share a hotel room in Marin area if someone wants a roommate. Looks like group rate setup at event hotel has expired and w/ America's cup going, all bay area rooms are kind of expensive right now
