On International Sun Day, Let's Walk at Lake Junaluska

May 3 may be International Sun Day, but this walk will proceed rain or shine (unless there is lightening). Let's hope for a sunny Sunday.

Gather at 2:00 at Lake Junaluska inside the Bethea Welcome Center. This will be a 7 KM/4 mile route. The walk does not just go around the lake, but up to Lambuth Inn, along the Rose Walk, and through the Nature Garden. The view from Inspiration Point is a must-see!

Dress for the weather. Consider a hat and sunscreen. Some people may want walking poles, especially for the walk up to Lambuth Inn; tennis shoes should be fine. It is particularly important that walkers bring a protein snack and plenty of water. Restrooms are available at the Welcome Center, at Lambuth Inn, and along the route. Dogs on leash are welcome. Strollers are ok.
