Who are the Practitioners?

The East Bay Healing Collective is comprised of a network of healing arts practitioners, instructors and teachers who wish to offer their services and gifts to the community. Below you will find a little information about each of us, as well as a list of the classes/courses we offer.

Sean Feit’s teaching is dedicated to the integration of yoga and meditation, and draws on 17 years of practice in both. He was a monk in Burma in 2002, and has studied with many wonderful teachers including Jack Kornfield, Sylvia Boorstein and Eugene Cash (Dharma/meditation), David Moreno and Alice Joanou (yoga), and Steve Hoskinson (Somatic Experiencing). Sean teaches at Yoga Mandala and SF Insight, is recording a CD of Buddhist devotional chants, and leads kirtan, offering the practice of Bhakti Yoga as an integral aspect of a heart-centered Path.

Sean is an advanced student practitioner of Somatic Experiencing, and sees individuals for counseling sessions that draw on Dharma and mindfulness within the powerful SE practice. Yogis and Dharma practitioners are his focus, though all are welcome. Somatic, or body-centered, psychological work can be invaluable in supporting the unfolding spiritual life, healing and integrating trauma, and meeting the challenges that arise on the Path. Sean offers sessions on a generous sliding scale. More info at nadalila.org.

  • Sean is available for sessions at EBHC.

Rain Elizabeth Stickney is a life-long meditator. Her parents were deep in Tibetan Buddhist study and with dedication shared with her their Buddhist and non-dual understandings during her upbringing. Steeped in traditions of non-duality and loving kindness for all beings, Rain is a natural teacher and healer. While studying East West Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, Rain met a traditional Advaita Vedanta teacher, Carol Whitfield. She fell in love with the beauty of the sanskrit scriptures and in the way this tradition unfolds the majestic mystery of the union between the individual, God, and the world. Other teachers who have and continue to greatly influence her are: Stuart Schwartz, Robert Adams, Ramana Maharshi, Adyashanti, Dorothy Hunt, Jon Bernie, Peggy Dylan, Nisargadatta, Nagarjuna, Ram Dass, Gangaji, Swami Dayananada, Sai Baba, and George Bertelstein.

Always, Rain offers an integral approach involving body, mind, spirit, and emotions. Rain has a Masters Degree in East West Psychology, Certificate in Expressive Arts Consulting and Education, Bachelors Degree in Psychology specializing in Biofeedback and Stress Management, and is a California licensed and insured bodyworker.
  • Rain leads the Stillwater Meditation Group on Monday evenings. She offers Spiritual Counseling, Family Coaching, Massage, and Meditation in San Francisco and Berkeley.

I am a Classically trained Homeopath, trained in the Bay Area. I enjoy working with people of all ages from children to seniors. My specialty is working with chronic conditions that haven't responded well to Western medicine. I believe that homeopathy can help anyone as it holistically treats the individual on mental, physical, and emotional levels.
