All around the US for the past ten years MedStartr (which started out as Health 2.0 NYC) has been running events and conferences all with the singular goal of advancing healthcare innovations. In 2017 we opened our first venture fund to invest in and accelerate the best teams we found. Companies like Abilto, DrChrono, Misfit Wearables, CareSet, Twiage, and hundreds more have found what they needed to gain momentum on our stages and on This event is the next in that series, part of our MedMo 2019 World Tour Pitch Contests. MedStartr Ventures will review the top teams from this contest for investment and acceleration in our July Accelerator Program and provide up to 2 million in funding. Why Hospitals?
Hospitals have come a long way in the last decade, now they lead the charge for innovations. We remember when one of our panelists, Jon Gordon stood up from the back of the room at an event we did in 2010 and said, "Hey can we do one of these for Hospital Innovations?" Great question Jon! We have done dozens now and have also helped other organizations like NODE and inspiring leaders like Ashish Atreja, MD, raise awareness for their initiatives that are really driving innovation further faster across all hospitals. Without institutional leaders, so much would not be happening so much faster today.

Health Impact East Social Too!
Having a great crowd is key for driving innovation so in addition to being a MedMo Pitch Contest, this event is also follow-up and social for after Health Impact East which is run by our great friend - and former co-organizer, Megan Antonelli. It is an excellent conference which we recommend as well. To learn more about Health Impact East please visit:
