What we're about
Two thirds of all Americans are overweight, half of them are outright obese. At the same time everybody knows that overweight can lead to diabetes and many other even life threatening diseases. What is going wrong?
In the end it so simple to lose weight, get healthier and life longer by simply adapting our diet. One simply needs to step out of the mainstream, industrialized, convenience food trap and start to think about WHAT and WHEN to eat.
This group is about: educating ourselves, exchanging experiences, survive the daily grind (without falling off the wagon). We invite subject matter experts as speakers to our Meetup's and for sure we also exchange recipes and treat ourselves with healthy delicacies. Focus areas are: Low Carb (LCHF), Keto, Fasting, Longevity, Supplements.
