What we're about
We are the Heartsong Voices. A small and friendly a cappella singing group. Not a choir.
We meet each Monday evening, during term times only, from 8 to 9.30pm in the basement of this lovely pub. We sing for joy, for pure love, for connection to ourselves and others and we sing to let go. This is singing with no prerequisites. Everyone is welcome regardless of prior experience, confidence level or singing ability. No audition is required. Repertoire varies from pop, to jazz, to blues, to folk, to spirituals and gospel, to soul and anything else in between. We sing from our hearts, in our basement room, purely for enjoyment and to pleasure ourselves. And sometimes we sing in front of an audience though there is never any pressure to perform.
Payment for the first session you come to is £10. Thereafter, should you wish to join, you would pay the amount for the remainder of the half term. This is equivalent to £8 per session. There are usually 5 to 7 weekly sessions per half term (and there are usually around 10 to 12 Monday sessions per full term).
Any questions, just ask.
Looking forward to singing with you soon.
