What we're about

This is a Book Club focused primarily on reading and discussing contemporary literary fiction. Books that have been shortlisted for or have won literary prizes (Man Booker, National Book Award), the New York Times recommended reading and the annual Top 10 List, literature in translation and other diverse sources will inform the reading list. We can take turns recommending books to be read and can vote on selections. The meetings will be anchored in a facilitated review of the text with social time as well. We can take turns hosting and/or meet in a public venue in Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree or 29 Palms.
