Forest Park ~Flea Zorkus Art Walk ~ Ken Zell Installations

• We will MeetUp @ the corner of NW Saltzman Road and St. Helen's Rd. See pin and details below.
• Within the first half mile of our walk up Saltzman Road we will start seeing the art installations of Ken Zell, who lives on Saltzman and has elaborate sculptures of whimsey he would love for us to check out.
• Ken invites us to wind around clever paths thru his front yard full of his unique home-made art, we will pop-in and explore this after our hike and Nia dance on our way back to the cars.
• Our 4.7 mile out-and back hike is of moderate ease as it has incline and decline, tho some sections are flat, along a wide gravel path shared by bicycles and hikers. We will make our way to one of few grassy openings within the park to dance our Nia.
• There are no public bathrooms associated with this hike so off-trail pee stops will be our only option.
• Nia Somatic movement is gentle, fun, inclusive, healing, move-at-YOUR-own-pace & in YOUR body's way. It is about what it FEELS like, not so much what it looks like, y'all.
• We use headphones (provided), handsfree mic, radio transmitter & iPod technology!
• Please wear clothing you like to move in and hooded rain gear (when needed) to protect our headphones.
• Be sure to have a healthy breakfast that includes protein & pack a snack perhaps.
• Bring your water bottle.
• If your intention to attend changes, pretty please change your RSVP status on MeetUp to "Not Going" as soon as your plans change. I have limited sets of headphones and would love to avoid "no-shows" from excluding others who wish to join. THX.
• Please avoid asking others on a date during this event. My intention is to foster safe space to meet new people, hike, dance and FEEL the music. Please respect your fellow attendees. I remove members who aim to "pick-up". Please let me know if you are ever made uncomfortable by another during an event.
