This is the second event in our now classic Training Hike Series. We will enjoy sunrise on Old Rag then split the group up into Full and Half participants and route accordingly to put on some more elevation and fun compared to the first training hike! Full details will follow in about a week. The leadership reserves the right to cut off a section or 2 for your safety if you can't keep up. Details will be posted over the next week or so, but wanted to get it on the schedule. My guess is the Full Event will be around 18 miles and with 5650' elevation gain, while the Half Event will be 14 miles with 4000' elevation gain. Dinner is at the Griffin Tavern afterwards. So come one, come all and get yourself into shape for our Extreme Hike Series next year for the Great Range Traverse, Presidential Traverse, Pemi Loop, and one or 2 others with a super secret new bonus trip that will blow you away!
