I started this group to meet and connect with people that enjoy being outdoors, social and to meet people in the area. Most of the hikes will be during the weedays for convenience. This group will be meeting over walks, hikes, jogs, coffee, food, beer, movies and more.
There is limitied space available per event. If you RSVP and don’t show up twice, you will be banned from the group.
NOTE: Hike Organizers are volunteers and ARE NOT professional guides. Your Yes RSVP is your acceptance and acknowledgement that you are responsible for your own safety and safety of any guest that you may invite at all times during the event.

Lets enjoy an easy hike/walk in the park. Afterwards we can grab a drink and/or food at Emerald Isle Restaurant which is a tavern with a patio facing the park. 4385 S Parker Rd, Aurora, Co 80014
We’ll meet at the parking lot right next to the Starbucks on 13702 E Quincy Ave, Aurora, CO 80015. We can then cross the street and enter the park via the trail entrance off of Parker Road and Quincy Ave. Alternatively, I have the State park pass and depending on how many people attend, I can drive us in the park to different trails that are closer to nature.
Note that there will be no access to water during the walk so bring water and hiking boots and microspikes are a good idea for the snow/ice patches.
This meetup will be canceled if it is snowing.
Cherry Creek State park has over 30 miles of trails, a large reservoir and lots of wildlife. It also has the largest dog park in Colorado. I run into deer most times. In the warm months you can rent kayaks, SUP's and jet ski's. It is free to walk or bike into the park. Driving into the park costs $9 or you can get the annual park pass.
