Nothing better to start of a new year than a short walk and a bit of history. Alan from Friends of Kett's Heights will show us around one of the lesser known but one of the most beautiful parts of Norwich with stunning views of the city. We'll learn its history from the times of Kett's rebellion to the most recent times. From then we will set off to explore some of the other parts around Mousehold Heath and couple other nice viewpoints finishing off with a coffee at Brittania Cafe.
Meet at the Kett's Heights park gates on Kett's Hill 9:00 am . You can find more info about the park and how to get there here: https://www.kettsheights.co.uk/location.html
It's a short walk with an easy pace. Be aware that there will be plenty of steps and inclines. Remember to wear good footwear and dress accordingly to the weather. Having a rainproof jacket or a poncho handy is always a good idea. Walk is dog friendly.
Friends of Kett's Heights is run entirely by volunteers that work hard to keep the park beautiful and clean. If you'd like to help them out please bring a few pounds to help them out to make the place even more beautiful.
