We had our initial meeting. Now we can talk about airline options and specific return date. If you any questions about the mountain climbs at the end of the WHW, please send them to me ahead of this meeting so I can run them past my mountain leader friend.
Hike Scotland's West Highland Way!
Join me as I return to Scotland this summer to hike the 96-mile path from Milngavie to Fort William. We can bag a few munros, including Ben Lomond on the third day of our trek. We will have a trained mountain leader with us who will safely guide us to the top of Ben Nevis (the highest peak in the UK) and a few other mountains nearby.
I will hold several informational meetings of this trek -- described by one hiker and a 100-mile pub crawl, as we will be staying in a different village almost every night, slaking our thirst in a local pub. Dates for hiking the WHW: June 28 (fly to Glasgow) - July 9 (arrive in Fort William), Mountain climbing July 10 - 13. Return date to be determined.
